Navid Shirazi (Michael Steger)
Navid is one of the wealthiest characters in the show. His father is the largest movie producer of adult rated movies in the west coast. It was revealed that he had romantic feelings for Adrianna since middle school. He secretly pays for Adrianna’s rehab when he found out that she has drug problems. They eventually became a couple later on. However, when he found out that Adrianna was pregnant, he broke up with her, stating that he doesn’t know how to handle the situation. They eventually got back together when Adrianna asks him to broadcast her admitting her pregnancy to the whole school.
Navid soon realize that he and Adrianna can’t get married or keep the baby. Adrianna gives birth to a baby girl whom the adoptive parents named Maisie. Adrianna soon breaks up with Navid because she thinks she is falling for Teddy Montgomery. In the latter part of the season, Navid and Silver becomes a couple. But things between them began to fall apart when Adrianna reveals that she knows Navid is seeing another girl.
Navid learns that his father is using underage girls in his films, making him a child pornographer. Navid’s outburst at the guidance councilor’s office leads to his father’s conviction.
Michael Steger plays the role of Navid. Michael was born on May 27, 1980 and is of Ecuadorian, Austrian and Norwegian descent. Michael has appeared on several TV shows including Hanah Montana, Cory in the House, and Criminal Minds.
